Terms of Service & Refund Policy

1. General

This website and the "Micsout" software product are operated by an Israel-based business ("the Company", "we"). Use of this site and purchase of the product are subject to the terms below. Browsing and/or purchasing constitutes acceptance of these terms.

2. The product

Micsout is a Windows desktop application that connects to a user's email inbox (Gmail/Outlook) to locate, consolidate, and analyze receipts and invoices using AI technology (OpenAI). Your purchase is a one-time license to use the software, limited to a single computer, with no usage time limit and no additional payment.

3. Price and payment

Payment is processed by credit card through a secure third-party payment processor (PayPlus), which handles your card details directly with the card networks. The Company does not store and is never exposed to your full card details. Checkout is processed in Israeli Shekels (ILS); the USD price shown is an approximation.

4. Cancellation and refund policy

• You may cancel your purchase for a full refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked, regardless of whether the license has been activated or used.
• In case of a significant technical issue preventing reasonable use of the software, which we cannot resolve within a reasonable time, a full or partial refund may be issued at the Company's discretion, in good faith.
• To cancel a purchase or request a refund, contact [email protected] with your purchase details (purchase email and date).

5. Data security and privacy

Your email connection uses secure protocols (official Google/Microsoft OAuth, or a dedicated app password) and is stored encrypted locally on your computer only - not on our servers. Scanned invoice content is sent to OpenAI for analysis per OpenAI's privacy policy, and is not stored on our servers beyond what's needed to issue and support your license (purchase email, license details). The app also sends a basic technical ping to our servers on launch and quit (an anonymous device identifier, language, version, and timestamp only - never invoice or email content) for basic usage tracking.

6. Intellectual property

All rights in the software, code, design, and website content belong to the Company. You may not copy, distribute, reverse-engineer, or resell the software without explicit written permission.

7. Limitation of liability

The software is provided AS-IS. The Company makes reasonable efforts to ensure accurate invoice detection, but does not guarantee absolute accuracy of the automated (AI-based) detection process, and is not liable for business, accounting, or tax decisions made based on the software's output. We recommend a human review of the data before official use (e.g. filing with your bookkeeper or tax authority).

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the courts of Israel shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
